Moby to Donate All Profits of Little Pine to Charity!

Little Pine, opened by musician and animal rights activist Moby, was already on the radar of many after opening in 2015. Now, the entrepreneur has announced that all profits from this restaurant will be distributed to various charities--with many focusing on animals.

Little Pine, located in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, offers organic and vegan Mediterranean-style dishes, including wild mushroom bruchetta, sausage cassoulet topped with garlic breadcrumbs, breakfast options such as pumpkin pancakes, and desserts that include meringue and peanut butter and jelly sundaes. While this alone was enough to have people coming in to try the various options, Moby has recently announced that Little Pine will go one step further and donate all profits to charity. He stated:

?Little Pine is an extension of my beliefs, so I have decided to donate 100% of the restaurant?s profits to animal welfare organizations. Opening Little Pine was never meant to be a conventional entrepreneurial endeavor. I want it to present veganism in a really positive light and also help to support the animal-welfare organizations who do such remarkable work."

Some of the charities that will benefit from this decision include the Humane Society of the United States, Mercy For Animals, Farm Sanctuary, Sea Shepherd, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, and more.

With this move, Moby is not only encouraging vegan dining by offering delicious options and alternatives, but is also making eating at his restaurant an act of supporting incredible organizations!
