Oceania Cruises Debuts Vegan Menu

Cruise Habit reported last week that Oceania Cruises, a major luxury cruise line, added over 250 vegan menu options "across the fleet of six ships"--the Marina, Riviera, Regatta, Insignia and Sirena. The options are available in the Grand Dining Room and include soups, salads, appetizers, entrees and desserts, as well as a Raw Juice & Smoothie Bar.

Bob Binder, president and CEO of Oceania Cruises, stated:

"We are delighted to expand our culinary offerings to please an even wider array of palates and offer our guests more diverse choices to suit today's wellness-focused lifestyles. Whether guests are looking for a healthy and invigorating start to their day or a refreshing and rejuvenating mid-day pick-up, the Raw Juice & Smoothie Bar has something to delight every palate."

Some of the options available include vanilla waffles with berries, involtini stuffed with tofu, spinach, and capers served with pasta and olive tapenade sauce, Thai red curry with jasmine rice, and an Italian-style chocolate ricotta pie with vanilla and raspberry sauce.
