Manchester's Northern Vegan Festival to Take Place Next Month!
The Northern Vegan Festival, launched in 2012, will return to Manchester this year on Saturday April 23 from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and celebrate all things vegan!
This year, the organizers promise:
“Over 200 vegan/animal welfare and rights stalls, dozens of films, presentations and workshops, live music, cooking demos, a vegan organic farmers’ market, a wine and cider festival and children’s activities.”
The festival has its base at Sacha’s Hotel, and will also have several events in four other venues in Manchester, including the Methodist Church, Gullivers Pub, Castle Hotel, and the Thirsty Scholar. The admission price for the day is £3, and free for those under the age of 16. According to the website, all proceeds will go directly to animal welfare charities.
Last year saw over 3500 people attend, and with more events and more venues locked in for this year, the organizers can definitely expect an even greater turnout! For more information and to find out which venues are hosting which activities, visit the Northern Vegan Festival’s website.
