Norwich Becomes Home to Little Shop of Vegans

Eastern Daily Press has reported that Little Shop of Vegans, a one-stop shop for everything plant-based, opened its doors in Norwich, England on December 8. Owner Rachel Cox states that the location on Magdalen Street is the first independent vegan retail store north of the city:

"The centre of Norwich is well served with vegan options, but there was nothing at this end. I really just wanted to open somewhere that I would love to spend time browsing and shopping in. Not selling just one thing, but a variety, I want to show how easy and accessible being vegan can be."

According to the article, Little Shop of Vegans sells "gifts, snacks, frozen ready meals, and chocolate treats," along with "a range of cheeses and meat alternatives and clothing from vegan fashion brands," and their Facebook page includes newer photos of beauty products, vegan pizza, fresh baked goods, cookbooks and pins!

One of Cox's goals was to "debunk the myth of vegan food being dull and boring," and just a quick look at the shop's selection shows that she is doing a great job! Little Shop of Vegans is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm, with special holiday hours until December 23. Happy shopping!
