Competitive Eater Smashes a 6.7 Pound, All-Vegan Platter of Food
What would it be like to smash 6.7 pounds of delicious, fried vegan food? For some, a dream – for others, a stomachache. For competitive eater Nela Zisser, it’s all in a day’s work.
The New Zealand-born model and competitor recently taped herself eating a platter of tofu sandwiches, lettuce wraps, french fries, and a generous helping of kimchi at her restaurant Tucks and Bao. Weighing in at 6.7 pounds, the eats disappeared in under 22 minutes as she chewed her way through each massive bite. If you are brave enough to watch a timelapse of the event, MSN is hosting a video that will make your eyes pop and your stomach do backflips. You can find other videos of Zisser’s competitions and practice on her YouTube page (warning: not all vegan).
Zisser’s takeaway from her spicy vegan eats? “I don’t like kimchi very much.”
