London Cafe The Fields Beneath Veganizing Entire Menu!

Fat Gay Vegan announced in January that The Fields Beneath, an originally non-vegan London-based cafe, was in the process of transitioning to a 100% vegan menu, with Gavin Fernback, owner of the cafe, stating:

"At The Fields Beneath, we've been open a little over four years and started transitioning to a vegan menu in December, cutting out meat first. 'What's wrong with dairy?' comes up a lot but the aim is to cut out dairy completely by the end of April."

Well, April has come early this year! After a recent Facebook post led to a person asking if the food pictured was vegan, The Fields Beneath responded stating, "everything on the menu is already vegan, except for the cow's milk which has 6 days left, then no more." By the end of Saturday March 25, The Fields Beneath will officially be completely plant-based! The cafe also has this sign on its door, explaining why dairy will no longer be on the menu:

The cafe, located at 52A Prince of Wales Road, serves some of London's best coffee, and the menu also includes juices, baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and even delicious-looking mushroom/lentil vegan burgers! Time to update our list of omnivore restaurants that have become 100% vegan!
